Corporate responsibility
We aim to be an inspiring employer, a responsible business, and we recognise the impact we have on our communities around the world.
Our many years of CR activities have provided us with a solid foundation to build on as we invest in creating a safe and sustainable future for all.
Our approach to corporate responsibility (CR)
Central to everything we do is our purpose of Transforming Tomorrow Together. Having a strong governance framework, which supports our long-term strategic development, is critical for us to deliver on our purpose, support the business and benefit all our stakeholders.
People
Attracting, retaining, and motivating our people is vital to our success, so that we have the right skills and knowledge in our business. We also need to hear how our people are feeling in terms of wellbeing, and to ensure that we are providing a safe place to work.
Customers
To fulfil our purpose, it is vital that we understand our customers' needs and challenges. Doing so means that we can then support them in transforming their own capabilities in manufacturing, science and healthcare, and achieving their own sustainability goals.
Suppliers
Having a robust supply chain of high-quality, safe and ethical raw materials is important to our success as a manufacturer. We also need to have strong relationships with our suppliers to help us meet our customers' evolving needs and changing demands.
Communities
Acting in a responsible way is important to us, and we want to make sure that we have a positive influence on the communities close to where we operate.
Shareholders
We recognise the trust that our minority shareholders have placed in us and aim to provide sustainable long-term growth in return.
Planet
To deliver long-term value in a world of increasingly scarce resources, we need to minimise the impact our business has on the environment.
