Workplace visits and workshops Gloucestershire
Primary schools
We offer whole school, key stage or class (years 5 & 6) STEM assemblies, which include an introduction to Renishaw and Engineering. These presentations last around 30 minutes and can include a classroom follow up activity where students can design their own Gromit dog.
We also sponsor STEMworks to run 100 K'NEX workshops across Gloucestershire in primary schools, learn more about this programme here.
If you would like us to deliver a STEM assembly at your school, please complete the below enquiry form. Please note: a projector with sound facilities is essential, these talks can be virtual if preferred.
Secondary schools
Our workshops are completely free and will take place in our STEM Inspiration Centre at our New Mills site, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, GL12 8JR.
The brand-new STEM Inspiration Centre has been purposely designed to host exciting school visits and workshops, to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.
Our workshops will be led by our dedicated STEM Outreach team and may also be supported by Renishaw STEM Ambassadors and specialist staff, we can accommodate a maximum of 30 students per session (unless otherwise indicated). Refreshments will be provided but unfortunately, we cannot provide lunch facilities (with the exception of the model making & prototyping workshop).
