Graduate scheme
Renishaw's annual Graduate Scheme covers a range of engineering disciplines and is designed to encourage and recognise the aspirations and career goals of talented engineering graduates.
Committed to training and development
A significant factor in Renishaw's continual success is its commitment to the training and development of its staff. Our Graduate Scheme targets a complete range of engineering disciplines and is designed to encourage and recognise the aspirations and career goals of talented engineering graduates.
To be considered for our Graduate Scheme we require graduates to have achieved a minimum 2.2 degree in a relevant engineering discipline. This sets the Renishaw scheme apart from many others that insist on a 2.1. To penalise a talented graduate for what is often a few marks makes little sense.
The Renishaw Graduate Scheme offers the following streams:
- Applications
- Commercial
- Electronic
- Manufacturing
- Mechanical
- Physics / Scientific
- Project coordinator
- Software
Structured to meet the needs of both the individual and the company, the scheme exposes the graduate to a variety of engineering disciplines and environments. On completion of the training programme graduates take up an appropriate position in the company. The scheme offers:
- A comprehensive 3-week induction
- Up to 2 years of flexible placements
- Job-specific training
- Mentorship
- Support to gain Chartered Engineer status
- Hundreds of future career paths
