Graduate Operational Management
Operational Management Graduate Scheme
The Operational Graduate training scheme is a Manufacturing Services Division based program aimed at providing Graduates with an overall appreciation of manufacturing management via practical “hands on” placement periods with varied and real operational responsibilities.
The program will be for a maximum of 2 and a half years and will encompass various functional areas of manufacturing with periods of approximately 6 months spent working in the different areas.
Core areas covered in the placement periods will be in a production supervision role, a purchasing-based role, and a material control/scheduling-based role. Additional area placements will be determined based on business need, opportunity, and individual interest will be in functions such as Project Management, Production Engineering, Inspection, Logistics, Subsidiary Sales, & Finance.
The placement periods will be based across our main manufacturing sites in Gloucestershire and South Wales. Upon successful completion of the scheme, Graduates will be equipped to take on a variety of operational positions within the Manufacturing Services Division.
Typically, this placement scheme will lend itself to Business Management/Studies or Engineering graduates, but candidates with a wide range of degree subjects will be considered as the personal attributes described, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career with a high-tech manufacturing organisation, are equally as important.
