Introducing the RenAM 500D
The RenAM 500D is the newest addition to Renishaw's RenAM 500 series of laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) systems.
The dual laser option means provides exceptional quality and cost-effectiveness at an accessible investment level.
It's the perfect choice when upgrading from legacy single laser systems.
Up to three times faster than single laser
The RenAM 500D Ultra, fitted with Renishaw's TEMPUS technology, allows the lasers to fire while the recoater is moving.
This can save up to nine seconds per build layer to achieve a build rate more than 200% faster than conventional single laser systems, depending on part geometry.
TEMPUS™ technology: jumping forward in AM productivity
- The RenAM 500 series now has the option to include TEMPUS technology — a new innovation from Renishaw that delivers a substantial increase in AM productivity without compromising on part quality.
- This technology synchronises the system lasers with the powder recoater, removing up to nine seconds of build time from every layer. With builds frequently containing thousands of layers, this can reduce total build times by tens of hours.
- When optimised with Renishaw's QuantAM build preparation software, all geometries can see a productivity benefit – up to twice as fast in some cases.
- TEMPUS technology is exclusively available on the RenAM 500 series from Renishaw.
