MODUS™ point cloud sectioner
MODUS point cloud sectioner generates 'on-surface' sections on any plane through a cloud of tip centre data points, previously captured by REVO.
Nominal section generation
For each section that is to be evaluated, it is necessary to create a nominal curve from the CAD model. MODUS provides this capability for any number of sections with the 'Add Slice' function.
Surface section generation
MPCS is used to generate sections from the point cloud of data collected by REVO. The sections are on-surface not tip centre and remove any cosine error during data fitting.
MPCS can be used time and time again on the same measurement dataset, both at the time of measurement or in the future if further sections at different locations are required. There is no need for remeasurement of the blade.
