Email security standards
Renishaw employs various strategies to prevent malicious email from entering our network. These measures are in place to protect our information as well as that of our Customers and Suppliers.
This is in part achieved by implementing domain anti-spoofing measures as advised by the UK's National Cyber Security Centre and Microsoft.
These measures include:
SPF – Sender Policy Framework.
DKIM – Domain Keys Identified Mail.
DMARC – Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting and Conformance.
By adhering to these standards, Renishaw is protecting its email reputation.
Any 3rd party that communicates with Renishaw using email should be aware that without these anti-spoofing measures being applied to their own email system, messages may be delayed reaching their intended recipient, or delivery may even be prevented. Services used by 3rd parties are subject to the same scrutiny and should also adhere to the same standards.
