Disable joystick tap touch

The following settings should be changed in the machine .ini file located: C:\Program Files (x86)\Renishaw\UCC\Machine\(machine name).

For non 64 bit machines the .ini file is located at: C:\ProgramFiles\Renishaw\UCC\Machine\(machine name).

UCCsuite v4.8

  • To disable tap touch set “TapTouchSearchDistance=0." within the .ini file under the [TouchTrigger] section

UCCsuite v4.9 or later

  • To disable tap touch set “EnableTapTouch=0” within the .ini file under the [MCU] section.
  • To enable tap touch change “EnableTapTouch=1” within the .ini file under the [MCU] section.

Requirements

UCCsuite v4.8 and UCCsuite v4.9 or later.
