Sustainability

Sustainability is an integral part of our purpose to Transform Tomorrow Together.

We are committed to playing our part in looking after the environment and protecting it from significant issues such as climate change. We do this not only by improving the footprint of our own operations, such as reducing the emissions from our manufacturing facilities, but also by providing solutions to customers to help them manufacture more with less, and to deal with the shift to a more sustainable world.

Our commitment to Net Zero

In November 2021, we announced our Net Zero targets and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that we are actively contributing towards. This means (i) minimising our environmental impact, and (ii) working in partnership with our customers, suppliers and local communities to create positive change for people as well as the planet.

As a responsible business that believes in acting with integrity, we strive to help create a more sustainable future. That means making our own products in ways that minimise our impact on people and the planet, and helping our customers and suppliers achieve their own sustainability goals.

Introducing our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy

Our ESG strategy is our plan for how our business can continue to do business responsibly and make a positive difference to all our stakeholders and our planet. It goes beyond the Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions targets that we set in FY2021, since we know that creating a sustainable future requires more than reducing emissions. Our targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and we continue to progress commitments towards those milestones.
