Healthcare Centre of Excellence

Located in Miskin, Wales, and easily accessible from Cardiff, the Healthcare Centre of Excellence contains a suite of facilities for the education and training for the life sciences community. These include a mock non-sterile operating theatre, space for workshops and lectures, and a demonstration area for the showcasing of Renishaw's full range of metrology and healthcare technologies.

Renishaw believes that it is extremely important that neurosurgeons have a familiar and comfortable environment in which to practice using its latest technology. The mock operating theatre suite within the Healthcare Centre of Excellence mimics a real-life hospital setting, but without the complication of a sterile environment. The proximity of Renishaw's manufacturing operations to the Healthcare Centre of Excellence is highly beneficial for collaboration between engineers and healthcare professionals, as they work together on current and future healthcare challenges.
