Process control solutions for manufacturing industries

Renishaw is a world-leader in metrology products and process control systems and frameworks for manufacturing.

Process control for manufacturing

For over 50 years, we've been providing measurement solutions for manufacturers around the world. Our first product revolutionised automated component inspection on CMMs. Since then, we've introduced a wide range of world-leading technologies for machine tool probing; machine calibration and optimisation systems; shop floor gauging systems; additive manufacturing systems; and smart factory connectivity solutions.

In our own factories, we introduced a structured framework of process control, which we call our Productive Process Pyramid™. It demonstrates how process variation and part deviation can be tackled at the source. Understanding how to remove sources of variation and uncertainty from your machining can help to increase throughput and reduce rework and scrap.

It's been our mission to help our customers to increase the productivity, capability and efficiency of their manufacturing. And industries as diverse as aerospace and orthopaedics are successfully applying our technologies throughout the manufacturing process.
