Surface™ and FocusTrack™

Sloping sample? No problem

With Renishaw's Surface capability, you can collect Raman data from sample surfaces even if they are sloping. You manually define the sample surface form prior to Raman data collection and, as the sample is moved and data is acquired, inVia keeps the sample in focus.

Maintain sample focus

FocusTrack periodically checks and adjusts the sample focus between data acquisitions; it can be used with single point, time/temperature series and point-mapping measurements. It scans over a pre-defined vertical range and finds the optimum focus. This limits deviations in focus, ensuring you get data, with optimum spatial resolution and throughput.
