Nemcomed, a division of Avalign Technologies, is a supplier of instruments and implants for medical device OEMs and uses Renishaw's QC20-W wireless ballbar to assess the contouring accuracy of their CNC machine tools. Nemcomed manufacturers approximately 1000 different parts, many have complex curved or spherical components.
