REVO probe change system
The REVO probe change system is designed to allow automatic REVO probe and stylus holder changing on a CMM. The primary purpose of the system is to improve flexibility with the ability to use and store longer styli and large star stylus configurations.
For optimum metrology, REVO probes and stylus holders should be changed automatically using REVO change ports (RCP TC-2 and RCP2) and a flexible change rack (FCR25). These ports are mounted on the modular rack system (MRS2).
The RCP TC-2 is a thermally controlled port for changing RSP2 V2, RSP3-# and SFP1, whereas the RCP2 is configured to change RSP2 V2 stylus holders (RSH#), SFP1 styli (SFS-#) and RSH3-6 styli holders (RSH3-6#).
Key features of the RCP TC-2 are:
- Maintains the probe at the operating temperature when not in use, for optimum metrology
- Recommended for RSP2 V2, RSP3-# and SFP1 probe changing
- Not to be used for changing stylus holders

RSP2 V2 and RSH#
The RCP TC-2 (thermally controlled REVO change port) is used for changing RSP2 V2, whereas the RCP2 (REVO change port) is configured to change RSP2 V2 stylus holders (RSH175, RSH250, RSH350, RSH450 and RSH500).
RSP3-#
The RCP TC-2 (thermally controlled REVO change port) is used for changing RSP3-# probes, whereas the FCR25 (flexible change rack) is configured to change SH25-# stylus holders.
SFP1 and SFS-#
The RCP TC-2 (thermally controlled REVO change port) is used for changing SFP1, whereas the RCP2 is configured to change SFP1 styli (SFS-1 and SFS-2).
