Choose from absolute or incremental, linear or rotary, encoders:
Linear incremental encoders
- Linear scales are used where straight-line position information is needed - usually X, Y or Z axes.
- Incremental (standard and miniature) encoders are used in applications where instant and accurate relative position is needed, in either analogue or digital format.
Rotary incremental encoders
- OnAxis and magnetic ring incremental encoders are used for motion control and position feedback even in harshest environments.
- Incremental encoders bring reliable, high-speed operation in on-axis and off-axis applications.
Linear absolute encoders
- Linear scales are used where straight-line position information is needed - usually X, Y or Z axes.
- Absolute encoders are used in applications that need a high speed unique digital output for each position and offer functional immunity from power interruptions.
Rotary absolute encoders
- Rotary scales are used for angular position information and the motion control of rotating elements.
- Absolute encoders are used in applications that need a high speed unique digital output for each position and offer functional immunity from power interruptions.
Magnetic sensors ICs
- The OnAxis™ magnetic sensor ICs are used for non-contact angular position and velocity measurement.
- Magnetic sensor ICs provide analogue and digital outputs including SSI, parallel, incremental, sin/cos and linear voltage with a range of selectable resolutions from 7 bit to 13 bit.
- Integrated EEPROM enables wide range of programmable parameters.
